During 2007-2008 I carried out a collaborative study with Laura Pierantoni, which concentrated on specific phenomena of new national art museums in Eastern Europe. Our case studies were chosen from three countries – Estonia, Hungary and Croatia. These museums were respectively – KUMU, LUMU and MSU. We analyzed the complex stories of their extablishing, and the ways of funding those museums shortly after moving to the new building, we also mapped crucial changes that have happened in the world of national museums, and bring about some of the related problematics.

2007-2008 teostasime koostöös Laura Pierantoniga uuringu uutest kunstimuuseumidest Ida-Euroopas. Täpsemalt, uurisime kolme kaasaegse kunstiga tegeleva rahvusmuuseumi rajamise ja rahastamisega seotud protsesse. Nendeks muuseumiteks olid KUMU Tallinnas, LUMU Budapestis ja MSU Zagrebis. Meie uuring kaardistas peamisi muutusi, mis uute hoonete rajamisega muuseumide töös Ida-Euroopa kontekstist tulenevalt on esile kerkinud ja avas sellega seotud problemaatikat.
